Sustainable Art

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, based in London UK for more than 15 years transforming waste material into pieces of art showing relationships between people through the tango culture.

Artist statement:

My artistic proposal is basically awareness to the spectator about the environment and how you could achieve to make an artistic work with recycled material where in my specific case are newspapers as a main material.

This artistic approach called “Sustainable Art” I have been working on for several years, gives a breath of fresh air to change, creativity and functionality, and further proof that each of us can begin to recycle up as simple to improve the world we live.

This innovative and original contribution hopes to encourage and motivate all alike to sow awareness about environmental pollution and ecological benefits in the world today.

My work is figurative pictorial where in most cases my greatest inspiration is the city, the environment and the people who live in it with a very vivid and colourful tones where people is the main protagonist of my acute observation and if the spectator observes my paintings and gets closer and sees in detail will notice that the media use to paint are pages of newspapers and this is my way to sensitise the viewer on the environment by transforming a waste material into a positive piece of artwork.

This is an honest and sincere art and my greatest desire is to reach as many people as possible to show a very different kind of paradise and say that a better world is possible.
